Pregnancy Prayers was written by a mother pregnant with her second child who was searching for the right words to pray over her baby. When she couldn't find anything to show her how to pray, she decided to write Pregnancy Prayers to lead herself and others in daily prayer for their babies. As she studied the weekly developments, she sought out scriptures that reflected the Bible's message about what was developing in her baby that week. The daily prayers were then created based upon the correlation between God's word and the weekly development of the growing baby.
